Meet the Founder

Candelaria Sanchez is a software engineer, filmmaker turned founder, based in Bali. She started OpenGateHub because she kept seeing the same problem everywhere: companies hiring great engineers who just didn't fit the team. Smart people in the wrong context, producing friction instead of flow.

So she built a company where cultural fit isn't a nice-to-have — it's the first filter. Every engineer is matched for how they communicate, how they work, and whether they'll genuinely care about what they're building. From Patagonia to Buenos Aires to building a global team across continents, her path has been anything but linear. But the through line is always the same: people first, everything else follows.
